Edia launches Cho Aniki Collection teaser website
Aniki is back.Edia has launched a new teaser website in its Telenet revival project series, this time teasing a collection for side-scrolling shoot ’em up series Cho Aniki.
The website, located at choaniki-collection.com, contains an image of Adon and Samson from the Cho Aniki series, and the text, “A New Project Coming Soon.” A Twitter account was also launched.
The Cho Aniki series consists of the following titles:
- Cho Aniki – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for Super CD-ROM² on December 25, 1992 in Japan
- Ai Cho Aniki – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for Super CD-ROM² on February 14, 1995 in Japan
- Cho Aniki Bakuretsu Ranto-hen – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for Super Famicom on September 22, 1995 in Japan
- Cho Aniki: Kyuukyoku Muteki Ginga Saikyou Otoko – Developed by Pre-Stage and first launched for PlayStation on December 29, 1995 in Japan
- Cho Aniki: Otoko no Tamafuda – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for WonderSwan on February 10, 2000 in Japan
- i (Ai) Cho Aniki: Gekiretsu Nawatobi-hen – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for feature phones in 2001 in Japan
- Cho Aniki: Seinaru Protein Densetsu – Developed by X-nauts and Psikyo, and first launched for PlayStation 2 on October 30, 2003 in Japan
- Cho Aniki Zero – Developed by Extreme and first launched for PlayStation Portable on March 19, 2009 in Japan
- Cho Aniki: Kan’s (Men’s) Bowling!! – Developed by Masaya Games and first launched for Android in 2011 in Japan
- Dancing of Cho Aniki – Developed by LIG and first launched for iOS and Android on February 2, 2022 in Japan
At this point, it is unknown which titles will be included in the collection.
Edia’s previous Telenet revival titles were released for Switch.
