Famitsu Sales: 12/26/22 – 1/8/23 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the two weeks spanning December 26, 2022 to January 8, 2023.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet for Switch remained the highest selling games of the end-of-year weeks, moving an additional 291,322 retail copies.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 250,718 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 85,156 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 4,128 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 1,739 units.
